Looking Back at ‘Schoolhouse Rock Live!’
The Severna Park Middle School show wrapped up on Saturday.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! at Severna Park Middle School finished up on Saturday night.
The show that features popular school tunes and tells the story of first-year schoolteacher Michael, played by eighth-grader Michael Bateman.
“A new teacher is stressing about how he is going to teach his students on his first day of school because he has never been a teacher before,” said student director Allison McClare said. “He turns on the TV to Schoolhouse Rock and imagines the characters are in his living room teaching him new ways to teach his kids.”

More than 80 Severna Park Middle students were involved in the production and had been working on the show since January.
Patch caught up with cast members Meg Glagola, Max Bachmann and Lauren Carlson to talk about the show. All three Severna Park Middle School students talked about how fun it was to sing the Schoolhouse Rock songs.
