Prize-Winning Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe
The gold medal winner in the 2nd Annual Chocolate Olympics at Victoria's Fancy Foods in Severna Park shares her blissful dessert.

Editor's Note: This is Caroline Tuck Nold's chocolate cheesecake recipe that won first place in the 2nd Annual Chocolate Olympics held at on Saturday. If you need something for Valentine's Day, grab the ingredients and give it a try- it's a winner.
Chocolate Cheesecake
1 box chocolate wafer cookies
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Combine and press into the bottom and sides of a 10-inch springform pan. Chill
1 12 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 lbs. cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sour cream
Beat softened cheese in a large mixing bowl until fluffy and smooth. Gradually beat in sugar, then eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Add melted chocolate, cocoa, and flavoring. Stir in sour cream and pour into the chilled crust.
Bake 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes, then chill for at least 5 hours. Center of cake will firm as it chills.
Serves 12 - freezes well
