"Schoolhouse Rock Live!" wraps up at Severna Park Middle on Saturday, and in honor of the show, Patch caught up with several members of the cast.
Sixth-grader Lauren Carlson, spoke with Patch about the show and why you should make sure you have tickets.
Severna Park Patch: What character or role do you play in the production?
Lauren Carlson: I am singing "Suffering ‘til Suffrage."

Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite part of the show or why should people come see it?
Lauren: My favorite part of the show is definitely the cast. It is really diverse, but at the same time everyone is always excited about coming to the rehearsal and doing the show. People should come see it because it is just a lot of fun.
Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite show or musical you have ever seen or heard performed?
Lauren: I like Mary Poppins. It’s really fun to watch and it’s hilarious. I love it.

Severna Park Patch: What do you like best about performing?
Lauren: I play soccer and I just like to chill with my friends.
Severna Park Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Lauren: An actress.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! will run Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students in advance; $12 for adults and $7 for students at the door. Tickets can be purchased online.
