Q&A: SPMS 'Schoolhouse Rock' Star Max Bachmann
Max Bachmann, 13, sings "Victim of Gravity" in Severna Park Middle's production of "Schoolhouse Rock Live!"

"Schoolhouse Rock Live!" wraps up at Severna Park Middle on Friday and Saturday, and in honor of the the show Patch caught up with several members of the cast.
Seventh-grader Max Bachmann, spoke with Patch about the show and why you should make sure you have tickets.
Severna Park Patch: What character or role do you play in the production?
Max Bachmann: I am myself—Max—but one of my solos is "Victim of Gravity."

Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite part of the show or why should people come see it?
Max: Well, I enjoy that it is an upbeat pace and not a whole bunch of dialogue but a lot of songs. It features so many different people and so many different roles and everyone has a part in in it. And if you already know the songs you may want to sing along.
Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite show or musical you have ever seen or heard performed?
Max: I really like Phantom of the Opera—It’s my favorite. I saw that on Broadway last summer.

Severna Park Patch: What do you like to do besides performing?
Max: I like to play basketball and just hang around.
Severna Park Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Max: A presidential historian and or a musical performer. I love history especially presidential history.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! will run Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students in advance; $12 for adults and $7 for students at the door. Tickets can be purchased online.
