Severna Park Chick-fil-A Planning September Opening

With the former KFC building on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park demolished, construction for the new Chick-fil-A has begun and a September opening date has been set. 

The Severna Park location is projected to open in mid-September, according to Bernard Hendrix, a spokesman for Chick-fil-A.

The restaurant's Facebook page states that September 12 was the target opening date, but Hendrix said that was just a projection and could change.

The Chick-fil-A Facebook page also stated that residents should notice significant progress on the construction now that Memorial Day weekend has come and gone.

The Severna Park Chick-fil-A will be located at 511 Ritchie Highway.
