The 4-1 Severna Park Falcons JV traveled up Ritchie Hwy to Glen Burnie. Despite a sloppy field the JV contest went back and forth and really became a battle of wills. Defensive stand after defensive stand the game would be decided in overtime.
Glen Burnie was first on Offense from the 10 and caught the Falcon D napping, a 10 yard run up the middle and the Gophers were up 6-0, after a missed XP.
Falcons QB #10 Trevor Bellotte lead the Offense into OT. 3 unsuccessful plays the Falcons were down to their last chance, from the 10 yard line, Palotti rolled right, and hit #30 Andrew Haggart, bobbling the pass, it bounced off his hands at the 10, popped up at the 7 and then finally at the 5, Haggart gained possession and bull dozed into the endzone to tie the game. After a successful PAT, the Falcons win 7-6 and improve their record to 5-1. Next weeks game is against Broadneck.
