VIDEO: Summer Reading Program Kicks Off Activities

The 2012 Summer Reading Club Scavenger Hunt started Monday at the Severna Park Library and you can still sign up at any Anne Arundel County Public Library branch.

The Scavenger Hunt for all ages started Monday and runs through June 23 during branch hours at the .

Summer Activities

  • If Pigs Could Fly
    June 26 at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
  • Dreams and Magic!
    July 12 at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
  • Sign Language Dreams
    July 18 at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 and 7 p.m. 
  • By the Sea
    July 23 at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Kids can still sign up at any branch in the county, where they can find suggested reading lists with award-winning books that have been identified as suitable and appropriate for all grade levels. Watch the attached YouTube video to learn more about the program.
