Watch: First Day of Spring at Rita’s

With the snow that blanked the area on Monday, it’s hard to believe the first day of spring was last week.

Despite the chilly temperatures on March 20, hundreds of people still flocked to Rita’s in Severna Park for its annual .

According to its Facebook page, the Severna Park Rita’s gave away 2,870 cups of Italian ice on March 20. Rita’s also posted a time-lapse video of the entire day.
