1 Injured In Chemical Spill At Silver Spring Pool Club
One person was injured from a muriatic acid spill at a swimming club in Silver Spring Monday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — One person was injured from a muriatic acid spill at a swimming club in Silver Spring Monday, officials said.
Pete Piringer, the spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire, said the chemical spill occurred at the Robin Hood Swim Club at 225 Mowbray Rd. Piringer reported the incident at about 11:30 a.m.
HazMat and fire squads were called to investigate the chemical spill in the pool pump room. Emergency medical officials evaluated multiple swim club employees on the scene.
