$100K Top Prize Won On Lottery Ticket Bought At Silver Spring Store
A 42-year-old ride-share driver from D.C. won $100,000 on a Maryland Lottery ticket he bought at a Silver Spring 7-Eleven.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A ride-share driver from Washington, D.C. got lucky recently, when he made a pitstop at a Silver Spring convenience store and bought a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket that turned out to be worth $100,000.
A loyal scratch-off and Powerball player, the father of three added a $100,000 Lucky scratch-off to his bass purchase at the 7-Eleven #32389 located at 7980 Georgia Ave. Playing the $30 instant ticket, he discovered that he's won the game's $100,000 top prize.
“I put it in my pocket and I left, acting normal,” the 42-year-old said. He kept the ticket in his pocket all day, picking up and dropping off passengers. He waited until he got home and took the ticket out to show his wife. The couple haven't decided how they will spend their winnings.
