2 Charged With Selling Drugs at Site of Burtonsville Homicide
Montgomery County Police have released the name of a man shot to death in Burtonsville and a $10K reward for tips is offered.

BURTONSVILLE, MD — Authorities have identified the Burtonsville homicide victim who was fatally shot in his residence, and have charged two men found at the house with drug trafficking.
Syed Asad Hassan, 22, of the 4500 block of Sandy Spring Road (Route 198) was shot in the upper body Tuesday night inside his house. He was taken to a local trauma center, where he died from his injuries, according to Montgomery County Police.
Investigators have not identified a suspect in Hassan's death, but say he may have known the shooter.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the Sandy Spring Road home on Wednesday, and found marijuana likely for sale on the street in the house.
Police say two men inside the house at the time Hassan was shot — Jason A. Berrios, 20, who lives in the Sandy Spring Road house, and Tevon Davis, 19, of the 11400 block of Cherry Hill Road — have both been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Berrios is being held on a $250,000 bond, while Davis is being held on a $5,000 bond.
