2 Teens Arrested With Nearly 450 Fentanyl Pills: MoCo Police

Authorities said a 16-year-old was arrested after police caught them selling the drugs to another teen on Georgian Wood Place in Glenmont.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Two teens are facing charges after Montgomery County police accused them of possessing hundreds of pills laced with fentanyl.

According to police, on Nov. 1, officers were conducting an investigation in Glenmont when they saw two teens buying and selling drugs on Georgian Wood Place. The buyer, an 18-year-old from Riverdale, and 16-year-old seller were arrested without incident.

During a search of the teens, police found the 18-year-old in possession of 13 "M30" pills laced with fentanyl. The 16-year-old seller was in possession of 432 fentanyl pills, packaging materials and cash.

The 16-year-old dealer was taken to the 4th District Station and referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for charging before they were released to their guardian, police said.

The 18-year-old was taken to the 4th District Station and charged accordingly, authorities said.
