2 Teens Shot At Birthday Party At Germantown Park On Sunday: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — Maryland-National Capital Park Police are investigating the shooting of two 15-year-olds who were attending a birthday party at Clearspring Local Park in Germantown over the weekend.

On Sunday, a boy and girl, both 15, were attending a birthday party at the park, which is located at 20101 Scenery Drive in Germantown. Around 6:30 p.m., a male suspect approached and shot the victims. He then fled in an unidentified vehicle, according to police.

The victims were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.
