Kefa Cafe, 963 Bonifant St., Silver Spring

Customer Bruce K. said: "Very neat little coffee shop that has all the espresso beverages you need to get through the day without going nearby to the green siren lady. My latte was tasty and rich with a very firm foam. Well done considering that it was skim milk. The vegan blueberry muffin was also very tasty though extremely messy to eat. Nothing that's not solved by a few napkins. Cool place. Good coffee."

Kaldi’s Social House, 918 Silver Spring Ave., Silver Spring

Fan Amanda D. wrote: "By far my favourite study spots in the area. The coffee that they feature is from a roaster in Durham, NC. It is also available for purchase in bags. The staff is always pleasant and polite. ... Another key feature is the fact that they have THREE wifi connections. This is great for when it gets busy because it ensures that the Internet is always fast. Do yourself a favor and check out Kaldi's the next time you are in downtown Silver Spring."

Said reviewer Rashidah J.: "I love this Peet's. By far the best coffee shop near my apartment in Silver Spring. This is the only place I have found since moving here that reminds me of home. The workers are super friendly and helpful and actually seem like they want to be there. They are genuinely nice people and have exhibited impressive patience with some annoying guests I've seen when I've been there! Love their coffee and lattes as well!"
