5 Community Centers In Montgomery County To Extend Hours In July

Five community recreation centers in Montgomery County will be extending their hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Starting July 5, Montgomery County Recreation is extending its Friday and Saturday hours to 11 p.m. at five community centers.

"We are pleased to be able to extend hours at our community recreation centers," said Montgomery County Recreation Director Robin Riley. "The extended hours will allow our community to continue gathering in safe places and enjoy the programs and activities that MCR offers."

The extended hours were funded in the county's Fiscal Year 2020 budget, which goes into effect on July 1.
