Silver Spring Man Cashes In Fifth $55K Winning Lottery Ticket In 2023
A lucky Silver Spring man cashed in his fifth winning Pick 5 ticket worth $50,000 from the Maryland Lottery.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring man picked up his fifth $50,000 prize playing Pick 5 this year at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore this week.
The 43-year-old Montgomery County resident claimed a combined $200,000 Pick 5 prize in May comprised of four $50,000 winning tickets.
The lucky Pick 5 player purchased his latest winning ticket from the Hyattsville Convenience Store, which is where he'd bought his earlier winning tickets.

The big difference in winnings came about because the man bought four tickets with the same winning numbers in May. This time around, he played 98557 on only one ticket in the July 10 game. That was still good enough for him to win $50,000.
The Silver Spring winner told lottery officials that he had no plans for his latest winnings, although he did say he was going to continue playing Pick 5.

Hyattsville Convenience Store located at 2230 University Blvd. East will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning Pick 5 ticket worth $50,000.
