$60K Keno Win: MD Lottery Doubles Prize On Silver Spring Man's Bet

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring man showed up at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore on Friday to pick up the $60,000 prize he won in an early-summer Keno bet, according to a release.

The winner was able to add the Super Bonus multiplier feature to his June 16 Keno ticket. The Super Bonus feature to his 8-spot wager on numbers 1, 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61 and 71 doubled his prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the J&S Liquors located at 10000 Liberty Road in Randallstown. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $600 bonus from the Maryland Lottery, which is equal to 1 percent of the prize.

The Lottery is running a Keno Sprinkler promotion through Sept. 11, giving players the chance to double or triple their winnings up to $100,000. Tickets bought through Sept. 11 that carry a Doubler or Triple message can see their winnings doubled or tripled.
