Silver Spring, MD -- April is National Volunteer Month, and at Riderwood, an Erickson Living developed and managed community in Silver Spring, MD, a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held for the hundreds of Riderwood resident volunteers.

“We have over 900 resident volunteers at Riderwood who volunteer their time to help others all year long,” said Judy Felsenfeld, Volunteer Program Coordinator, Riderwood. “They all volunteer their time in a variety of ways; volunteering through resident committees, helping their neighbors here at Riderwood or by working with outside organizations. Today we wanted to thank them all for taking the time to help others all year long. "

Residents enjoyed a 1950’s themed luncheon at Riderwood and were greeted by Riderwood staff dressed for the occasion.
