MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Several people were injured Sunday in a three-car collision that occurred in the White Oak area.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said the crash was reported around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of southbound Columbia Pike and Stewart Lane.
Pete Piringer, of the MCFRS, described the crash as a "T-bone collision" that involved an entrapment and an overturned vehicle.
At least one person was rescued from a car, and two people were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Authorities have not said what caused the crash.
An investigation remains ongoing.
