UPDATE: Blair High School Given All Clear in Search for Robbery Suspect
Montgomery County Police searched the school after a robbery suspect injured a gas station employee in the area early Friday.

Police officers have completed their search of Blair High School and lifted restrictions after an a employee at a nearby Shell gas station was injured during a robbery Friday morning in Silver Spring, according to authorities.

The robbery and attack at 100 University Blvd. West were reported just after 6:30 a.m. The business is located near Colesville Road.
Montgomery County Police said via Twitter that the Shell station employee is an adult male who suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the head. He was taken to an area hospital.

Initially, police said the employee had been shot, but an update says he was hit in the head with the suspect’s handung.
Blair High School students and staff sheltered in place while the school was searched by officers. The search wrapped up about 10a.m.
The high school is located at 51 University Blvd. E.
Reports say one suspect fled on foot from the gas station.
Police say the suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’8”-5’9,” wearing a black jacket and black pants. He face was concealed his face, and he was carrying a black handgun.
