Businesses Vote to Stay in Bethesda

Auctioneer and appraiser Sloans & Kenyon joins six other companies in renewing leases in Washington Property Company buildings in Bethesda.

If you would miss the store where you can buy and sell a wide variety of decorative and household items, you'll be happy to know that longtime auctioneer and appraiser Sloans & Kenyon has renewed its 32,000 square foot lease at 7034 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Just down the street, six companies renewed their leases at 6900 Wisconsin Avenue. Both buildings are owned by Bethesda-based Washington Property Company, which leased 130,575 square feet of space in nine of its suburban Washington, DC properties during the second quarter of 2017.

WPC's footprint is all over Bethesda. The company's latest luxury apartment building, Solaire Bethesda, delivered last year and is now the home of True Food Kitchen, providing healthy food and extensive outdoor seating right on Bethesda's main street.
