Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Gift Cards to Those in Need

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney recently presented a donation of more than 40 gift cards to Olney Help. Over the past few weeks, students collected a variety of gift cards to benefit children in need, as well as decorated 15 handmade holiday cards to accompany the gift cards. Students also worked together to create a large poster that they presented along with the gift cards to a representative from Olney Help. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to those in need, especially during the holiday season.

Olney Help is a nonprofit organization that provides short-term emergency food and financial assistance to individuals and families in need in Olney, Sandy Spring, Ashton, Brinklow and Brookeville, Md.
