Coffee With A Cop At Silver Spring Dunkin' Donuts

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police will once again host the Coffee with a Cop event on Aug. 23 at the Silver Spring Dunkin' Donuts at 13874 Georgia Ave. The event will run from 6-8 p.m. and gives attendees the chance to get know local officers.

Attendees can meet their 4th District officers and chat about anything. There's no pre-set agenda or approved questions. If you want to talk basketball, talk basketball. Want to talk about the use of lethal force in law enforcement? You can do that too.

Coffee with a Cop is part of a national movement to bridge the divide between police and the people they protect and serve. Many other Maryland cities sponsor similar programs.
