Dave & Buster's Now Open in Silver Spring Venue

SILVER SPRING, MD — Dining and entertainment venue Dave & Buster’s has opened its third Maryland location, a 40,980-square-foot location at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring right off the Red Line.

The new location marks the expansion of the Ellsworth Place entertainment destination, and the third Dave & Buster’s in Maryland. Dave & Buster’s close proximity to the respective homes of the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals and DC United make the D&B Sports bar the ideal sports viewing destination for local residents to cheer on their home teams with massive HD TVs and “better than the stadium” seating, the company says.

The November opening marks the company’s 90th location.

The restaurant’s menu includes the Pepperoni Pretzel Pull-Apart, Three Cheese Grilled Cheese Sticks and Buffalo Wing Burger. Guests will also experience new dishes like Angry Orchard BBQ Chicken and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Lobster Sauce & Fire-Grilled Sirloin. Options on the cocktail menu include Tiki Drinks, the Original CoronaRita, Adult Snow Cones, the Strawberry Watermelon Margarita poured over strawberry ice cubes, Glow Kones featuring a multicolored, flashing cube, and the all-new Luxe L.I.T.’s.

Guests can also play over 165 of the newest games in the Million Dollar Midway including Ghostbusters, Star Trek and Star Wars Battle Pod. Redeem those tickets with a trip to the Winner’s Circle to shop for a variety of prizes, including Apple products, Xbox games, sports memorabilia and more.

Guests can enjoy Thursday, Sunday and Monday Game Day Specials including $5 appetizers and $3.50 22 oz. draft beer specials from now until Feb. 7. Additional specials include Happy Hour (Monday-Friday 4:30pm to 7pm), Late Night Happy Hour (Sunday-Thursday 10pm to close), Two For Tuesday, which includes $2 select beers, $2 Tacos and 2 Free Game Plays (open to close), and Half-Priced Games every Wednesday (open – close).

Petrie Richardson Ventures and Rockwood Capital, the owner developers of the Ellsworth Place retail center, say its "long-term goal for Ellsworth Place has always been to reinvigorate the retail offerings in downtown Silver Spring with more modern, trendy options that are in line with the rapidly changing demographic of the surrounding area,” said Terry Richardson, president and COO of PRV.

Current anchor tenants at Ellsworth Place include Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, Michaels, Ross and T.J.Maxx. Over the next 20 years, Ellsworth Place is projected to generate about $38.4 million in tax revenues for Montgomery County and to support 807 permanent full-time jobs in the county. During the construction phase, the renovation is projected to generate 253 temporary jobs. On a statewide level, Ellsworth Place is projected to generate $175 million in state tax revenues and support 881 permanent jobs, inclusive of those in Montgomery County.
