Dead Man, Possible Drug Lab Found in House

A man in his 30s was found dead inside a house in Silver Spring Wednesday. No foul play is suspected.

A man was found dead Wednesday night in a Silver Spring house possibly used as a drug lab, authorities said.

Montgomery County Police told WTOP a relative of the victim found his body about 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Winona Court. No foul play is suspected and the man has not been identified. He’s believed to be in his 30s.

Inside the house police found chemicals used to make drugs. Hazardous materials units from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department were called to the scene.

On Twitter, Pete Piringer, spokesman for the fire department, said they were investigating chemicals similar to those associated with a drug lab.
