Double Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured At Silver Spring Restaurant
Montgomery County Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred Friday outside a restaurant in the White Oaks Shopping Center.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Marvin Jefferson, a 34-year-old Silver Spring man, was fatally shot Saturday at a restaurant located in the 11200 block of New Hampshire Ave.
Police responded around 5:51 p.m. to the restaurant located in the White Oak Shopping Center for the report of a shooting. Arriving officers found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Jefferson was found outside of the restaurant, with the second victim located nearby, according to police.
The two men were take to a hospital to be treated for their wounds, but Jefferson was later pronounced dead. The second victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and the released.

A preliminary investigation determined that Jefferson and the other victim were involved in a fight inside the restaurant, which led to the shooting. Th suspected shooting left the scene before police arrived.
