Driver Rescued From Overturned Car In MoCo Crash

CLARKSBURG, MD — A driver trapped in their vehicle was extricated by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews following a Clarksburg crash Saturday night, officials said.

Fire spokesman Pete Piringer said the vehicle overturned in a crash about 10 p.m. at Frederick Road and Shawnee Lane. The car had overturned.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injures.

Authorities have not released the driver's name, or a cause of the crash.
