Each month a local artist showcases some work at Zed's Café, downtown Silver Spring on Georgia Avenue.
In July, Fleur de Virginie, an artist from Silver Spring, presents her oil pastel flowers full of colors and character.
She also realized a portrait of Marilyn as a temporary mural on the wall of the coffee-shop.
