Here are some of the theater productions, concerts and other weekend activities happening March 28-29, courtesy of the MyMCMedia.org calendar:

Saturday, March 28

• Visit Glen Echo Park’s Art Explorers Family Studio for drop-in parent/child art activities from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Young children ages 1-5 will enjoy Blue, an interactive theater experience at Imagination Stage at 10 and 11:15 a.m.
• The first Montgomery County GreenFest is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Silver Spring
• Kensington Arts Theatre 2nd Stage presents Willy Wonka, Jr. at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Local non-profit Arts on the Block will hold an open house from noon to 3 p.m. in Kensington. Teens may come and create a mosaic.
• BlackRock Center for the Arts presents The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Germantown at 3 p.m. (Sold Out)
• Visit Waverly Street Gallery to meet artist Barbara Bickley and enjoy her printmaking demonstration from 3-5 p.m. in Bethesda
• The musical trio Paddy Goes West will perform at Davis Library in Bethesda at 3 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present an evening of comedy hosted by Joe Clair at 7 p.m.
• The Aztec Two-Step concert at BlackRock center for the Arts begins at 8 p.m. in Germantown
• Herb Alpert and Lani Hall perform at Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus at 8 p.m.
• Pianist Haochen Zhang performs with the National Philharmonic at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.

Sunday, March 29

• The Winter Olney Farmers and Artist Market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sandy Spring Museum
• Young children ages 1-5 will enjoy Blue at Imagination Stage at 10 and 11:15 a.m.
• Kensington Arts Theatre 2nd Stage presents Willy Wonka, Jr. at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Local musician Jessica Krash performs at the Mansion at Strathmore at 1 p.m.
• Pianist Haochen Zhang performs with the National Philharmonic at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.
• Montgomery Playhouse presents “An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe” with three staged readings at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 7:30 p.m.
