Flower Coffee Collective To Pour Its Last Cup Of Joe On Saturday
Flower Coffee Collective is closing its mobile coffee shop at 8736 Flower Avenue in Silver Spring on Saturday.
SILVER SPRING, VA — Flower Coffee Collective will be pouring its last cup of Joe at its mobile coffee shop at the end of business on Saturday, according to a post on the company's Facebook page.
"It's with a heavy heart that I tell you Flower Coffee is closing. ... While this iteration of my coffee journey is coming to a close, it is not the end of coffee in the Long Branch neighborhood," the post says. "Your individual and community support has made this particular coffee venture a success, and as we move forward I can’t wait to share what the future holds."
Flower Coffee Collective started with the renovation of a 1960 Nomad camper, according to the company's Instagram page. The camper would eventually park seven days a week at 8736 Flower Ave., in Silver Spring to sell coffee and pastries.
