Free Silver Spring Village Lunch and Learn Feb. 14
Join Silver Spring Village for a free Valentine's Day lunch and learn about the benefits of membership and volunteer opportunities.
Silver Spring Village - a network of neighbors helping neighbors age in place - is growing fast. More than 115 residents are now members and many are also volunteers.
Learn more about the Village, which offers household help, rides, and fun and informative social events, at a free lunch from 12:30-2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14, at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Silver Spring. Both the front (633 Silgo Ave.) and rear (634 Silver Spring Ave.) entrances are accessible for all.
The event is free and open to all who want to learn more about Silver Spring Village. Village representatives will talk about the benefits of membership as well as opportunities for volunteers.
