A STUDENTS’ THEATRE PRODUCTION

All confident teenager Tracy Turnblad wants to do is dance, but when she’s rejected from becoming a dancer on the popular Corny Collins Show because of her looks, she decides to take a stand. With the help of her new friends and her agoraphobic mother, she’s determined to bring Baltimore into the new, modern and integrated decade of the 1960’s. This all-student production is supported in part by funding from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Government.
