'I Am A Camera' at The Highwood Theatre

The Students' Theatre at The Highwood Theatre in downtown Silver Spring presents I Am A Camera by John Van Druten. Based on The Berlin Stories by Christopher Isherwood and the inspiration for the hit musical Cabaret, I Am A Camera tells the story of Sally Bowles, an elusive woman struggling to adapt to the radical changes taking place in 1931 Berlin. She catches the eye of an American writer named Christopher Isherwood, who gets pulled into the snares of the underground scene and pens one of the most cautionary tales of all time.
