Jennifer Cutting's Ocean Quartet Plays in Takoma Park on Saturday!

With spring in the air, what else can we want than an evening of Celtic traditions old and in-the-making featuring Takoma Park composer and band leader Jennifer Cutting and her OCEAN Celtic Quartet. The concert, sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, will be held on March 12 at Seekers Church on Carroll Street, cattycorner from the Takoma Metro station. OCEAN is the East Coast's premiere Celtic fusion band, with a live show the Washington Post calls "nothing short of spellbinding," over 20 Washington Area Music Awards, and a history of sold-out concerts at such venues as The Birchmere and The Kennedy Center.
