Man, 20, Fatally Shot In Silver Spring Parking Lot: Police
Authorities said several unoccupied cars were also hit by bullets during the Sunday shooting.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Laurel man is dead after police said he was shot in a Silver Spring parking lot Sunday.
According to Montgomery County police, officers were called to the 1300 block of Fenwick Lane shortly after 10:35 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, authorities said they found a man in a nearby parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man — identified as 20-year-old Jedidiah Kehiku Ogboi-Gibson — was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to authorities, several unoccupied cars were also hit by bullets during the shooting.
No suspect is in custody, police said. Ogboi-Gibson's body was taken to the chief medical examiner's office in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted.

Anyone with information about the shooting should contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-455-TIPS. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect, police said.
