Meeting On Colesville Water Main Project To Be Held In Silver Spring

Silver Spring residents are encouraged to attend a community meeting focusing on the water main project on Colesville Road.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Residents are invited to attend a community meeting on the Colesville Road Transmission Water Main Project Wednesday night.

The meeting, hosted by Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), will go over plans to replace and relocate about 1.88 miles of 20-inch water mains on Colesville Road and MD Route 29.

The project will take place on Colesville Road from the Beltway to Georgia Avenue and is expected to begin in August, according to a news release.

The meeting will be held at Montgomery Blair High School from 6:30-8 p.m. Montgomery Blair High School is located at 51 University Boulevard E., Silver Spring.
