MOCO Doctor Who Sexually Assaulted Patients Sentenced To Decades In Prison
Ishtiaq Malik was found guilty earlier this year of sexually assaulting patients at Advanced Walk-In Urgent Care in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Montgomery County doctor will spend 24 years in prison after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting patients at his Silver Spring practice, according to a report.
Ishtiaq Malik, 60, of Lanham, was sentenced Wednesday and will be required to register as a sex offender following his release, WTOP reported.
According to Montgomery County State's Attorney John McCarthy, Malik was arrested in February 2023 outside the Advanced Walk-In Urgent Care located at 10800 Lockwood Dr. in Silver Spring. Prosecutors said Malik groped, inappropriately touched and sexually assaulted two patients during routine examinations at the practice.
