MoCo To Host Oct. 17 Job Fair In Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County will host the second annual East County Regional Job Fair from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the East County Community Recreation Center, at 3310 Gateshead Manor Way in Silver Spring.

The event is free and open to the public. Job seekers are asked to bring many copies of their resume and to dress in business attire.

Recruiters from the federal government, the Maryland state government, the Montgomery County government and the private sector will be on hand to talk with job seekers.

At last year’s first job fair at the center, more than 600 job seekers attended, according to Montgomery Community Media.
