MoCo Police Seek Public's Help ID'ing Carjacking Suspects
Police said they need tips from the public to find suspects in a carjacking that occurred early Monday at a gas station in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two men connected to a recent armed carjacking in Silver Spring.
According to police, the carjacking occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Monday at the Exxon in the 10200 block of New Hampshire Avenue.
Police said the victim was inside of their black Honda Accord at the gas pumps, when a dark colored SUV entered the parking lot. The SUV came to a stop in front of the victim’s car, blocking their ability to leave.

According to police, two unknown suspects then got out of the SUV and approached the victim’s car. One of the suspects displayed a black handgun and ordered the victim to get out of the car. When the victim complied with the suspect’s demands, both suspects entered the Honda and drove away from the business, followed by the dark colored SUV.
The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his early twenties with a thin build. He is approximately 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs 130-140 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and carrying a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as a Black male with a light complexion in his early twenties. He is approximately 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs 130-140 pounds. He was also wearing a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
