Women Who Threw Food, Chair At MD Chipotle Worker Sought By Police

Police said the assault happened about 10 p.m. Sunday at a Chipotle restaurant in Silver Spring when two women threw food and a chair.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for two women who investigators say threw food and a chair at a Chipotle worker in Silver Spring.

According to police, the assault happened shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday at a Chipotle restaurant in the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive.

Police said two unidentified women entered the restaurant and one argued with an employee. According to police, the women tossed food at the worker and also threw a chair at the employee before leaving the store.

After reviewing surveillance footage, police released the following descriptions of the suspects:

One suspect was a Black woman wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts and orange slippers.

The second suspect was described as a Black woman with long black hair. She was wearing a long white coat, leggings and brown boots.
