Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing juvenile from Germantown.

Benjamin Andrew Leyva, age 14, was last seen by family at approximately 10:00 p.m. yesterday evening (Thursday, March 18) when he left his Drumcastle Terrace home on foot.

Leyva is approximately six-foot-tall and weighs 120 pounds.  He has brown eyes, brown hair, wears braces on his teeth, and he has earrings in both ears. Leyva was last seen wearing a white shirt, red basketball shorts, and carrying a black backpack.

Police and family are concerned for Leyva’s welfare.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Benjamin Andrew Leyva is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000(24hrs). Callers may remain anonymous.
