Montgomery County Department Of Police: Detectives Investigate Carjacking And Theft From Autos Committed By Same Suspect In Aspen Hill Area

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Major Crimes Division and the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit continue to investigate a May 20 theft from aut

o in the area of Aspen Hill and a June 28 attempted carjacking that occurred in the 4900 block of Aspen Hill Road in Silver Spring. Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The following incidents were reported to police:

Investigators believe that the vehicle theft and carjacking were committed by the same suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this attempted carjacking is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.
