Montgomery County Recreation To Hold 3 Jobs Fairs

Montgomery County Recreation is looking for part-time employees to work during the 2020 summer season.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Recreation is hosting three job fairs in January and February for those looking for part-time employment. Available positions include lifeguards, camp counselors, camp directors, and mainstream companions.

Applicants must be 15 years of age.

The job fairs are scheduled at the following times and locations:

  • Saturday, Jan. 18, 2-6 p.m. at the Olney Indoor Swim Center (16605 Georgia Ave., Olney)
  • Wednesday, Jan. 29, 3-7 p.m. at the Plum Gar Community Recreation Center (19561 Scenery Dr., Germantown)
  • Wednesday, Feb. 26, 5-8 p.m. at the Gwendolyn Coffield Community Recreation Center (2450 Lyttonsville Rd., Silver Spring)

Applicants should bring copies of their resume and be prepared to talk about their experience and availability.

The pay starts at $13 an hour, and increases based on experience. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
