National Childrens Center Leases in Silver Spring
Nonprofit National Children's Center is taking office space in downtown Silver Spring, leasing at 8757 Georgia Avenue.
Downtown Silver Spring continues to attract businesses. National Children’s Center has leased 15,694 square feet at 8757 Georgia Avenue, a large office building owned by Bethesda-based Washington Property Company. Three other tenants renewed their leases recently, for a total of about 22,000 SF leased in the building during the second quarter of 2017.
Washington Property Company leased a total of 130,575 SF of office and retail space in nine of its buildings in Maryland and Virginia during the second quarter. The largest of these transactions was the 32,000 SF lease renewal by longtime Bethesda auctioneer and appraiser Sloans & Kenyon at 6900 Wisconsin Avenue.
