New Year's 2019: Where To Celebrate In Montgomery County

COLORS Presents: R&B ONLY with Dauchè and Jabari - Silver Spring

The 2018 R&B ONLY North American Tour is coming to The Fillmore on Monday night. The party starts at 10 p.m. and will feature all types of R&B dance music. Get tickets here.

BLACKROCKIN' NEW YEAR'S 2019 - Germantown

BlackRock Center for the Arts will be hosting a number of activities during the BLACKROCKIN' NEW YEAR'S 2019 bash, including casino games and the all-night Thunderball disco. Patrons can also win prizes, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats, dance to live jazz music, and watch "From Russia With Love." The event starts at 9 p.m. and ends at 1 a.m. Tickets go for $90 per person and $150 per couple. Tickets must be bought in advance. New Year's at Kusshi Sushi - North Bethesda

Celebrate New Year's Eve at Pike & Rose's Kusshi Sushi. The event includes Happy Hour specials, a champagne toast at midnight, and an open bar from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The restaurant is located at 11826 Trade St. in North Bethesda. Reserve your ticket here.

New Beer's Eve at Denizens Brewing Co. - Silver Spring

A $62 ticket will get you access to an open bar (only beer, wine, and mead), appetizer buffets, and a champagne toast at midnight. New Year's Eve Swing Dance at Glen Echo Park - Glen Echo

Think 1957 senior prom, but way less awkward. New Year's revelers can wear their best 1950s getup and swing dance at Glen Echo Park's Spanish Ballroom. The celebration kicks off with a one-hour swing dancing lesson at 8 p.m. and will feature music from Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins,and Jerry Lee Lewis. The Great Gatsby-Themed New Year's Eve Party - Rockville

Drag Queen New Year's Eve Party - Bethesda

The Barking Dog will host its first ever Drag Queen New Year's Eve celebration on Dec. 31. The party starts at 9 p.m. and ends at 1 a.m. Tickets cost $80 and will get you access to the bar and a full dinner menu. The Barking Dog is located at 4723 Elm St. in Bethesda. Get tickets here.

New Year's Eve (Eloquence) - Silver Spring

At the Kaldis Social House in Silver Spring, you can ring in the New Year with an open bar and an open buffet. The open bar starts at 8 and ends at 9 p.m. The open buffet starts at 9 and ends at 10 p.m. Live entertainment from the NEXT LEVEL BAND will be on the first floor; and music from the top DJs in the D.C. metro area will be on the rooftop. New Year's Eve Live! with Experience Unlimited and MAJIC - Bethesda

Experience Unlimited, a go-go band based in Washington, D.C., will be performing at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club. The event, which starts at 9 p.m., will feature a midnight balloon drop and party favors. MAJIC 102.3 and 92.7-FM will broadcast live from the event. Tickets start at $59.50. Get them here.

New Year's Eve at Bar Louie - Wheaton

The Black and White Masquerade is an ode to Truman Capote's infamous 1966 Grand Masked Ball. Masquerade masks aren't required, but are encouraged. Admission to the event is free and tickets include a champagne toast. The party starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m. Get tickets here.

MoCo LGBTQ Youth New Year's Eve Party - Rockville

This New Year's Eve party in Rockville is for guests ages 21 years and younger. While there's no alcohol at this event, you can munch on savory snacks and get a party favor. Sparkling cider is served at midnight. Free parking is available on site and Montgomery County's Ride-On bus stops are less than two blocks away. Owen's Ordinary New Year's Eve Steampunk Masquerade Ball 2018 - North Bethesda

It's a Steampunk-themed New Year's Eve party where partygoers can dress up, sip on drinks, and dance the night away. Don't have a costume? Owen's Ordinary has you covered. New Year's Eve 2018: All Set for Prom - Silver Spring

It's prom night on New Year's Eve. You can either buy a general admissions ticket — which costs $40 — or a three-course dinner ticket — which costs $100. The cheaper ticket will get you free parking, unlimited spiked punch, a complimentary prom photo, a corsage or boutonniere, and more.
