This initiative is related to the Purple Line Compact which is led by Casa de Maryland, the University of Maryland's National Center for Smart Growth, and other leading organizations.  Safe Silver Spring is a supporter of this Compact.  The Compact is designed to ensure that the residents, small businesses and workers in the International Corridor are protected from any negative impacts of the Purple Line.
