Missing Aspen Hills Woman Found Safe
Vanessa Williams Washington was found safe and unharmed, police said.

(Updated 3:09 p.m. Wednesday) ASPEN HILL, MD — Vanessa Williams Washington has been located safe and unharmed, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Aspen Hill area woman.

Vanessa Williams Washington, 49, resides in a group home located in the 13000 block of Parkland Drive. She was last seen by caretakers at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday when she left the home on foot, police said.
Washington does not have her medication with her and police and caretakers are concerned for her welfare.

Police describe Washington as an African American female, who is 5′ 7″ tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds. She has brown eyes and short black curly hair. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans and carrying a backpack, police said.
