Pollo Campero To Open In Downtown Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD — Dubbed the "world's largest Latin chicken chain," Pollo Campero is making it's way to Colesville Road, according to Source of the Spring.

Pollo Campero is set to open at 8666 Colesville Rd., next to The Fillmore Silver Spring in mid-to-late May. Customers can expect authentic Latin chicken dishes, such as hand-breaded, fried or grilled chicken breasts and legs. Chicken empanadas, plantains, rice, roasted corn, black beans and cole slaw are also on the menu.

Pollo Campero prides itself on making it's chicken from scratch. They're also known for their variety of sauces, including: Latin buffalo, creamy cilantro, sweet chipotle mustard and more.

The first Pollo Campero opened in Guatemala in 1971. There's now over 67 U.S. locations and more than 300 restaurants around the word, from Costa Rica to Bahrain.
