Powerball Ticket Worth $50K Sold At Silver Spring Wine & Beer Store

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring beer and wine store customer may be holding a winning ticket worth $50,000 in Monday's Powerball drawing, according to a Maryland Lottery release.

Lottery officials are encouraging customers who purchased a Powerball ticket at Old World Favorites, which is located at 3854 International Drive in Silver Spring, to check to see if the ticket matches the winning numbers from the Dec. 5 drawing. The five winning numbers were 35, 45, 47, 54, and 55. The Powerball was 14.

If those numbers match your ticket, you may be a $50,000 third-tier Powerball winner.

Winners have 182 days since the drawing date to redeem their prizes. Winning tickets of more than $25,000 can be claimed by mail or in-person at Maryland Lottery headquarters, which is located in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore.

Winners must contact the Maryland Lottery to book an appointment in order to claim their prize in person at the Baltimore headquarters. No walk-ins are allowed.
