Preschoolers At The Goddard School Determine The Hottest Toys For The Holidays

Tiny Tots At The Goddard School Located In Silver Spring Take On The Job Of A Lifetime

Preschoolers at The Goddard School located in 8611 2nd Ave, Silver Spring, MD along with 49 other Goddard Schools across the country took on the job of a lifetime – toy testers! The world’s leading toy companies went head-to-head for the coveted title of The Goddard School’s winning educational toy of the year!

Now in its 9th year, The 2016 Goddard School Preschooler-Approved Toy Test has engaged children from infants to six years old to play with interactive toys while teachers observed and documented how the toy rated among the judging criteria (interactivity, skill development, creative inspiration and more). From September 19-September 23rd, the preschoolers casted their votes to determine the Top 10 Toys.

*The Goddard School has purchased 100 units of the winning toy to donate to Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that distributes holiday gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
